IN JUST OVER A WEEK’S TIME, A HIDDEN GEM OF SANTIAGO’S RESTAURANT SCENE, CASA ZUCCA, WILL BE HOSTING A ‘SECRET GARDEN’ DINNER PARTY SHOWCASING SOME DELICIOUS AND INNOVATIVE FOOD AND DRINKS, ALL IN AN ENCHANTED LOCATION BELOW THE STARS. THE EVENT WILL INCLUDE A THREE-COURSE MEAL WITH WINE, LIVE MUSIC, AND SOME NEW AND EXCITING COCKTAILS.
SANTIAGO — Casa Zucca is a charming bistro tucked away in El Golf barrio of Las Condes. Out the back there is a beautiful large garden full of trees and flowers, which will be completely transformed to create a magical setting that will feel like a whole other world to Santiago.
The night will kick off with some exciting cocktails which are being created specifically for the night, along with live music from some excellent Chilean musicians. Guests will then sit down to enjoy a three-course meal, which will be created by a chef who is a fresh young talent in Santiago, Joaquín Andrés Vaccario Escobar.
Casa Zucca’s cuisine is a blend of simplicity and sophistication, using fresh organic produce to give a pure and natural sense to the food. Like the cocktails, the menu for the ‘Secret Garden’ party is a surprise, but is sure to be something very special.
“The concept of this night is that we want to give the guests a magical experience, with fresh tastes, in a beautifully decorated garden that connects them with nature,” the owner of Casa Zucca, Marcela, told I Love Chile. “The menu is going to be innovative, as we want to try something new, and we want our guests to discover new tastes and flavours. The food will also have a connection to the garden, visually, as well as taste.”
The night is also being organized with Savory Five, a company that plans and hosts various culinary events, showcasing some of the best food and drink that Santiago has to offer. Its head, Kimberly Parks, has been organizing an array of other successful dinner parties similar to this one for the last nine months.
“We are always trying to show people new places to go, and when I first stumbled across Casa Zucca I thought that this is a perfect little hidden gem. It’s a special place and would be perfect to host the secret garden dinner party,” said Kimberly.
Speaking about the best aspect of planning culinary events such as these, Kimberly said, “Seeing people happy and breaking bread is such a joy, whether it’s in your own home or at events it’s always so nice to see other people enjoying each other. People have fallen in love, they have good a laugh, they have a memory, and it’s great to be a part of that”.
Tickets to Casa Zucca’s ‘Secret Garden’ party cost CLP$38,000, or CLP$35,000 if buying four or more, and can be bought through Savory Five’s website here.
