Chile’s ExpoF11 Kicks Off in Style
The second ExpoF11 Feria de Futbol has returned to conference center Espacio Riesco, with fun and games for every football fan.
HUECHURABA — Thousands of visitors will pass through the halls of Espacio Riesco this weekend, with each space converted into a football lovers paradise. Star players, coaches and referees mingled among the entertainment, while there were many activities on offer for young and old.
The first day’s play was inaugurated by event organizer José Luis Fernández, Chilean football legend Elias Figueroa, Subsecretary of Sports Gabriel Ruiz-Tagle and many others. Throughout the fair, current and former players lent their time to sign autographs and appear in photos with visitors.
As well as the action from the fields, a number of radio stations, including Radio Sport and ADN have been broadcasting live from the Expo.
The feria will continue on Sunday, with an entry fee of CLP$5,000. Among the activities on display are football tennis, futsal, street football, freestyle football and many others, with many sports brands offering competitions and marketing material. There also a sale of sporting goods, with huge discounts available.
