Lollapalooza: Of Monsters and Men
An indie folk band from Iceland, Of Monsters and Men could easily be compared to a mixture British success Mumford and Sons and New Zealand’s The Naked and Famous. However, their recent burst into world fame suggests that Of Monsters and Men still have a lot more to offer.
Their often cutting lyrics are paired with uplifting and often cheerful sounding trumpets, drums and guitars, making them the perfect summer sound for Lollapalooza Chile’s farewell to the hot weather of the last few months as we look forward to Autumn (and Winter…)
Their debut album My Head is an Animal was released in September 2011, with its single Little Talks reaching number one in the charts in Iceland and gaining huge popularity in the US following extensive exposure on Philadelphia rock station WRFF.
Regularly selling out gigs in the United States, Of Monsters and Men are passing through Buenos Aires on their way from Lollapalooza Brazil.
