Recently we have seen a growth in the use of alternative therapies, as we are reaching the end of the year 2012, when a big world change is expected. It seems that people are getting closer to their most exploratory and sensitive side, developing what we could call spirituality.

Therefore, it’s no wonder that every day more and more people want to treat different kinds of problems with interesting techniques, which offer a full treatment along with a deeper self-knowledge, as with Gemstone Therapy.

Gemstone Therapy is a healing technique (physical, emotional, and mental) that employs semi-precious stones, also known as gemstones. They key to this treatment is its holistic sense.  That is to say, it not only relieves the symptom, but also looks for the reason for its appearance in the human body, rebalancing the person.

“When traditional medicine or treatment is taken, what we basically do is relieve pain.  But if we don’t know why that pain started in our lives, it will reappear soon as other symptoms, in other parts of the body, with other complications,” therapist Nicole Canivilo said. “A symptom is a way of communicating with our own body, and Gem Therapy helps us notice some behaviors that we are having.  These could be the cause of our current imbalances, diseases, and physical or emotional pain,” she added.

Compared to other effective and gentler therapies such as Bach Flowers, Gem Therapy works quickly due to its high mineral content, which is also found in our blood.

The whole therapeutic process requires at least three sessions (one session every three to four weeks).  Through different methods (medical history, life history, and gemstone readings), it’s possible to identify potential problems that can be treated. Each session lasts at least 90 minutes.

For example, one session with Nicole costs between 10,000 and 20,000 Chilean pesos.
