I Love Chile Appears in El Mercurio
SANTIAGO – Daniel Boyle, one of the I Love Chile editing team appeared last week in Chilean newspaper El Mercurio’s Revista Domingo. The magazine selected some of the leading expat experts to share their favorite hidden locations throughout Chile. Joining Daniel in giving their secrets away were Rob Woodward from Southamerica.me, Liz Caskey from the Eat Wine blog, Eileen Smith from the Matador Network and Patagon Journal editor Jimmy Langman.
The wide range of writers shared their different backgrounds and experiences in Chile to recommend three place from throughout Chile. Each writer was encouraged to share places that you might not find in a regular tourist guide. I Love Chile will soon launch a new travel feature, Escape from Santiago, which will focus on locations outside of Chile’s capital.
Daniel’s choices focused on the central zone of Chile – the Reserva Nacional Rio de los Cipreses with excellent views to the Andes outside of Rancagua, the fishing village of Bucalemu where fishermen return each morning with their catch and locals come down from their colorful houses to buy the fish fresh from the boat as well as the historic town of Vichuquén.
