Demi Lovato Grants Wishes While on Tour in Chile.

Seventeen year old teenage pop sensation, Demi Lovato, started her South American tour in Santiago, Chile this Sunday, May 23rd. During her short visit in Chile, Demi not only came to offer an incredible show to her adoring fans, but also to make a difference. In this particular case, she marked the lives of two young and brave little girls in a huge and positive way.

When the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Chile asked Valentina (7) and Barbara (9) what their greatest wish in the world would be, neither of them hesitated in answering, “I wish to meet Demi Lovato and watch her concert”. And that’s exactly what Make-A-Wish did with the help of Demi Lovato.

While waiting for the concert to begin in a private room backstage, Valentina and Barbara sat in silence staring at their watches and their CD cases of Demi’s album. Volunteers came in saying that their wish of watching the concert would be coming true that day. Two huge grins shined the room, but little did they know that their second part of the wish would be coming true just a few seconds later.

A Make-A-Wish volunteer then said “Oh wait! There was a friend that wanted to meet you both, let’s invite her in!” Both girls stared in awe with their mouths wide open as Demi came up and hugged them. A great moment of sharing the power of a wish® took place for the several minutes that Demi spent with the girls, laughing, talking and hugging each other. Not even the cold weather that day could distract both girls from enjoying Demi’s concert as she’d constantly go over and wave at Valentina and Barbara.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Chile would like to thank Demi Lovato for making this amazing wish come true!
